On February 22, 2005 a Consolidated Primary Election was held for contested races for candidates seeking election at the April 5, 2005 Consolidated Election for the office of Village of Homer Glen Trustee. Three (3) trustees will be elected to serve at large for four years. Because a minimum of 261 votes were required in order for a candidate to be placed on the April 5 ballot, only four candidates will be on the ballot.

Christopher Locacius: 1,021 votes
Mary Niemiec (Write-in candidate): 734 votes
Marcia De Vivo (Write-in candidate): 705 votes
Robert E. Hughes: 515 votes
Exceptions
The following candidates did not receive the required minimum vote of 261. They will not be on the April 5 Consolidated Election Ballot.
Lawrence R. Conrath (Write-in candidate): 95 votes
Laurel J. Ward (Write-in candidate): 56 votes
Brian Stevens (Write-in candidate): 40 votes
Thomas P. Polke (Write-in candidate): 28 votes
