Tinley Park Mental Health Center is housing about 120 Hurricane Katrina evacuees. They are in need of many, many things. Especially our time. Please visit the website above (South Suburban PADS) and see if there is anything you can do as an individual or as a group. Some residents are donating their time to help sort through donated items, to fix meals and feed the people. A Girl Scout troop is going to donate money and then purchase gift cards for grocery stores. Any help you can give whether it be monetary, personal time or personal items is greatly needed and appreciated.
